GWSTUDIO is a multidisciplinary creative studio by Gemma Watkins based in Melbourne/Naarm.

Working with materials such as wax, metal, glass and leather, her process is grounded in an appreciation for materiality and the relationship between object, wearer and surrounds.

Drawing inspiration from the natural environment and overlooked treasures, she creates considered, enduring pieces that balance character and craftsmanship with versatility and modern wearability.

The studio practices a small-batch approach, emphasising conscious production using recycled or second-hand materials where possible.
